A striking example of contemporary tropical modernism — a sculptural statement balanced by warmth, function, and lush natural integration.
The project focuses on the renovation of an existing residence and the addition of new spaces, including a main entrance, entertainment lounge, terraces, and garages. An exposed concrete wall and metal screen on each wing of the house create two interior courtyards, enhancing privacy while allowing for natural ventilation. Variations in ceiling heights, as well as the depth of walls and windows, help articulate the façade’s distinctive horizontality. The main entrance is defined by a generous cantilevered overhang that welcomes visitors and extends from the reception area to the pergola-covered terrace, framing a panoramic view of the rear courtyard.
