THE VISION
Arte de Construir transformed this once-outdated neighborhood residence into a sophisticated modern retreat, perfectly suited for a family of four. The redesign focused on creating an open, airy environment that celebrates light and space, blurring the lines between interior and exterior living. A striking sliding window wall in the living room opens seamlessly onto a stunning patio, where Japanese-inspired landscaping embraces tranquility through minimalism and precision. The garden’s careful composition surrounds a serene pool, offering a peaceful contrast to the home’s clean architectural lines and crisp modern materials.
Scope of Work
The home reflects our signature approach to elegant simplicity. Marble surfaces, thoughtfully integrated recessed lighting, and sleek, minimal furnishings define the interiors, enhancing both functionality and form. The kitchen—anchored by a large, square central counter—serves as the social heart of the home, designed for gatherings and easy entertaining. Every detail, from the spatial flow to the choice of materials, reflects a deep understanding of modern family living, where warmth, openness, and refined design coexist effortlessly.

The process
Once a dull and unremarkable structure, this house stood as a relic of another era—awkward in layout and lacking warmth or style.
But we didn’t see an outdated house, we saw a canvas for transformation. Through a careful blend of modern design principles, innovative materials, and advanced construction techniques, we sought to breath new life into the space.
Large windows now flood the interiors with natural light, sustainable finishes add texture and depth, and open-plan living areas invite connection while maintaining intimate corners for relaxation. The result is a home that feels both sleek and welcoming—a perfect balance of modern sophistication and everyday comfort, thoughtfully crafted for the needs of a contemporary family.
